I started working in the dental field in 1996 as the Lead Dental Director for a large hospital in Utah. I originally grew up in California but have lived in many places. I am able to call Connecticut home now for the last 12 years. I’ve had many titles in the dental industry and have been able to fulfill each one with persistence to see the job through and always to tackle a task in a logical and systematic manner.
My personal motto is “to work hard and play harder!”
Outside of work and not at the office, I enjoy spending time with family, playing softball and riding motorcycles, both street and dirt bike.
I started working in the dental field while I was getting my bachelor degree. After graduation, I didn’t see the need to change careers because I loved what I was doing. I have been in the same practice for a few years now and I see it as my second family. I love to interact with people and make them feel comfortable and I know they appreciate my compassion and competence. I’m also fluent in Portuguese and Spanish which sometimes is helpful to our patients. I feel very fortunate to work with Rolling Hills Dentistry because we are all about the wellbeing of our patients.
When I’m not at work I love to spend time with my family, I enjoy the beach, hiking and visiting new places.
I started working with Dr. Boyce in 1998 and transitioned with her to Rolling Hills Dentistry in April of 2018. I am ICE (Infection Control), RHS (Radiation Health and Safety), and CPR certified. I am skilled in both front office administration and direct patient care
When I am not working I enjoy teaching cardio dance class, working on my water garden and spending time with my two nieces.
I graduated from the Tunxis Dental Hygiene program in 2010 with an Associates Degree. I provide a gentle and caring approach while delivering care to my patients. Its my goal to help them achieve optimal over all health.
I am an active member of my local & state dental hygienist associations. I currently serve in various roles at both levels. I am currently serving as the Treasurer for both the Northwestern Component and for ADHA-CT. I have always enjoyed volunteering in the dental community.
When I’m not working I enjoy spending time with my husband & three children, entertaining family and friends and I love gardening.
